Garden Layouts/Edible Garden Design Packages.
For garden layout only, cost varies based on complexity - $0 for a couple stand alone raised beds to more for customized plans and larger gardens. Edible Garden Design Packages (see details right) start at $375.
Garden Layouts vary widely in cost. Sometimes there is no charge if the work is extremely straight forward, like a few stand-alone raised beds out in the yard. For smaller or mid-size enclosed gardens, the design fee might be $100-$300. For involved, large gardens with lots of options, revisions, or special requests, design costs could be $1,000.
Edible Garden Design Packages go a step beyond the garden layout - they do all the planning for you and tell you how, when and where to plant every single plant. Here’s what’s included:
Several layout options to choose from - we discuss the type of food you would like to grow and any special features you’d like to include (such as a sitting area) to inform our designs. We implement your feedback and arrive at a layout you love.
A detailed plant map showing which plants go where in the garden.
A specially curated plant list with specific varieties that suit your goals and interests. You will also receive suggestions on whether to start from seed or transplant, and where to source the seed for each variety in your plan.
Timelines showing when to sow seed, plant seedlings, and harvest each crop.
Extra tips on care and harvesting for each crop.
